Web and Mac Versions
EDIT: The Mac Version is confirmed not to work. I'll look into it.
In order to fix release the WebGL version, I had to put everything through a single camera instead of using an overlay camera for the HUD. I also had to change how the Mehtrominoes were built so they would spawn in at the proper size, because they were getting scaled up as the HUD zoomed out with the camera.
This process of discovering that all my "make it work even if it's messy" attitude makes problems that I discover down the line is a fasinating one. On one hand, it would be great to learn the "right way" do make a game that won't break. On the other, if I learn everything by doing it the right way, there is just so much other stuff that I wouldn't learn. That momentum has been really key, and stopping to second guess if every decision is going to cause problems later is paralyzing. Make first, check later, seems to be getting me what I want, so it's what I'll keep doing!
There is now a Mac version, but I haven't been able to test it on that hardware, so I can't say if it actually works or not. Fingers crossed?
